A Polish address, opened with two lines of text

Onet is one of the large Polish web portals, and Onet Poczta is the free mail service attached to it. Each mailbox in this shop is one of those, with an address ending in @onet.pl. A few listings say "onet.pl or op.pl": @op.pl is an older domain of the same service and opens in the same place.

Your order page shows the address and its password, one mailbox per line. With those two you sign in at poczta.onet.pl and the inbox is yours to read, to receive sign-up codes in, and to reply from.

Age, past use and a Polish number

The listings differ in three details, and the title states each one. The first is age. A fresh mailbox was registered shortly before it went on sale. Aged ones are counted in months, such as five, six or eight, or in years, from one up to about three.

The second is past use. A listing marked 2023-2025 Used sells mailboxes that were in service before; they bring the age of the address, and the inbox may not be empty. The third is phone verification: on listings that say number verified, Onet's phone step was completed with a Polish number at registration.

The number confirmed the mailbox once. It does not come with it.

That matters later. If Onet sends a code to that number, it goes to a phone you do not hold, so make your first sign-in and any change of details while the warranty window is still open.

What an onet mailbox gives you, and what it does not

Two short lists, so nothing in the delivery is a surprise.

Your first visit to Onet Poczta

The interface is in Polish, but there is little to read. Open poczta.onet.pl, type the address, then the password, and the inbox appears under Odebrane. Settings sit under Ustawienia, and the password is changed with Zmień hasło.

Do two things on that first visit: set a password only you know, and add a recovery email of your own. From then on the mailbox answers to you rather than to whoever registered it. A browser's built-in translation is enough for the settings pages.

When a mailbox will not open

Try every mailbox within the warranty window printed on its listing. A refused password, a blocked mailbox, or a check from Onet that the delivered details cannot pass: report it from your order page with a screenshot before the window ends, and you receive another mailbox from the same listing, or a refund when that listing is empty.

Signing in never voids the warranty. Blocks caused by bulk or automated activity, such as mass mailing or scripted logins, are the one exclusion. BuyOnetMail is an independent shop with no tie to Onet, which can ask any mailbox to verify again or close it; use the addresses within Onet's rules and the law.
